Financial Reporting Specialist
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP, or local GAAP).
- Ensure timely and accurate consolidation of subsidiaries by coordinating with the subsidiaries accounting teams.
- Handle intercompany eliminations, adjustments, and reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders including banks (lender), investor reports & audit.
- Collaborate with auditors to ensure smooth and efficient audits.
- Analyse consolidated financial results to provide insights to senior management.
- Consolidate business units monthly report submitted by subsidiaries.
- Assist in implementing new accounting standards across the group.
- Assist in development to financial consolidation report system.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related field.
- Prior experience in group financial consolidation is essential.
- Highly understanding of consolidation principles and practices and proficiency in financial reporting standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
