Collection Investigator

Responsibilities
  • Conduct investigations to locate and profile individuals or entities with outstanding debts.
  • Utilize digital tools, online platforms, and databases to gather and verify information.
  • Communicate findings clearly through detailed reports and updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (legal, finance, collection) to support recovery efforts.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all investigative activities.
  • Communicate professionally in English for internal reporting and when engaging with external stakeholders.
 
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Fraud/Risk/Collection Investigator in a financial institution is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in fraud/risk/collection, investigation, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skilled in using digital applications and online platforms for research and data collection.
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Integrity and a high standard of professionalism.
